Write the definition. What program uses rasters? 2)What are examples of things you can do with raster images? 3)List the benefits of raster imagery in bullet points. 4)List the weaknesses of raster imagery. 5)What are vector images? Write the definition. AGENDA 1) Sketchbook #23: Brainstorm ideas for your own original character. 1) Is your character a hero, evil villain, a self-portrait… • Make a list of animals, monsters, objects, etc. that you could turn into a character. • List a minimum of 10 things. 2) Describe your character’s physical characteristics. What do they wear, is it a human, animal, something else? Explain in detail. 3) What is your character’s backstory? Where are they from, how old are they, do they have a cultural background rooted in reality, are they from another planet? Explain. 4) Where does your character live? 5) What does your character do? Do they have a role, a job, a talent, a superpower? 6) Make a sketch of the character or characters--USE COLOR!! 2) Illustrator Assignment: Character Symbol Scene. •Illustrate a simple scene with your original character that you have created.
