Steps to register for the AP Drawing or AP Art & Design Portfolio
1) Visit the SDUHSD AP Central Website : https://www.sduhsdapexams.com/
2) Please refer to the student registration guide to register for the test
3) It does NOT matter which class you are enrolled in at TPHS, you can register to submit an AP Drawing or AP 2D Art & Design portfolio regardless of what class you are taking at TPHS.
4) Review what is the difference between the 2 portfolios: Which portfolio do I sign up for - AP Drawing or AP 2D?
Discuss with Mrs.Doerrer what kind of media, styles. and techniques you like. Then decide which portfolio best represents your artwork.
5) Join the MyAP class on the myap.collegeboard.org website for the portfolio you WANT to submit.
The class you enroll in on the MyAP website is for the portfolio you WANT to submit - it is NOT for the class you are taking at TPHS.
MyAP join code for AP Drawing Portfolio: XG49MQ
MyAp join code for AP 2D Art & Design: W6P6AM
6) Go to AP Central to register and pay for your exam. Register for the SAME portfolio you signed up for on the MyAP website, which should be the portfolio you WANT to submit to the College Board.

Requirements and Recommendations for Digital Images:
All images must be submitted in JPEG format (file name extension .jpg) and RGB color mode. We recommend uploading files that are 72 pixels-per-inch (ppi) because a higher resolution does not add clarity to images that are being viewed on a computer screen. We recommend that you keep copies of your original images.
