MiraCosta College Articulation Credits/Units
You may earn early college credit while starting on a career pathway. I have signed an Articulation Agreement with MiraCosta College (MCC) so that students may earn college credit for completing Digital Art & Design and Advanced Digital Art & Design. The credits earned may be applicable toward certificates, associate degrees, and transfer to 4-year universities.
If your goal is to attend MCC after high school, you will have a head start on credits.
If you are 4-year college bound, earning articulated credit may be a boost for admissions. In addition, college coursework may be added to a résumé and may make a student more marketable for potential internships and employers.
*MiraCosta credit may also be transferred to Cal State Universities and some private universities.
There is no cost for a high school student to enroll in an articulated course. For courses that are 3-4 units, this is a potential savings of $138 to $184 in tuition at a community college, as well the cost of textbooks and materials, and the savings is even greater when compared to the equivalent course at a CSU, UC, or private college.
