For EACH PROJECT you complete in class you will complete a sketchbook page.
At least 1 page brainstorming for each class Project:
Requirements:
1) Research 1 - 2 artists that could inspire you for this project. Include notes on their style and technique, and how you could emulate this style (but not copy) in your own work.
2) Research 1 - 2 NEW techniques you could incorporate into this project. Remember the Growth Mindset. Include notes on your new techniques/skills and show experimentation of the new skill.
3) Include a minimum of 4 thumbnail sketches (draw a box 3x4") where you show a variety of decision making and experimentation in: composition, subject matter, style, technique, color scheme, elements and principles, etc.
4) A sketch of your artwork in a drawn box about 4x6" - make sure to draw a frame to sketch inside of.
